Adobe Labs’ Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com) online software is a fantastic resource to play with color themes.
There are hundreds of themes already on the site (view by newest or by most popular). You can create themes based on a number of different color theory “rules” — such as an analogous theme, a complementary theme or a monochromatic theme (and others).
If you create a free registration, you can sign in and then save and publish color themes, so you’ll get the most out of the site. Saved theme palettes can be used in Adobe’s Creative Suite products (or capture the screen for an RGB theme you can use virtualy anyway.
It’s one of our favorite color resources that is free to use online.
